"Hine takes you back to the former No. 1 NBA Draft pick’s roller coaster youth where he somehow overcame poverty and the passing of his mother and grandmother during his youth in the Atlanta area. This is a must-read book that explains who the real “Ant Man” is from the beginning to today." - Marc J. Spears, Senior NBA Writer for Andscape/ESPN
"Ant is an essential text on the NBA’s most electric superstar, perfect for anyone who’s ever wondered how Anthony Edwards is able to balance lovable charm and merciless ambition with the same effortlessness that’s on display every time he dunks a basketball." - Michael Pina, Senior Writer for The Ringer
“Chris Hine captures Anthony Edwards's incredible journey from tough Atlanta roots to winning a gold medal in the 2024 Olympics with unparalleled insight and storytelling. I've watched Ant grow both on and off the court as the TV analyst for the Timberwolves, and this book is a testament to his rise as a true NBA superstar. Chris couples his deep understanding of the game with a depth of soul as a writer to craft a compelling narrative fans will love. I can't recommend reading this book highly enough.” - Jim Petersen, Timberwolves Television Analyst
"Ant Edwards' game oozes personality; his personality oozes confidence and charm. Chris Hine reveals the genesis of the talent and the unique character Edwards has become. This book will make any Edwards fan understand him on a deeper level and make any basketball fan understand why he's the future of the NBA." - Brian Windhorst, New York Times bestselling author of Lebron, Inc.
"The megawatt smile. The cartoonish leaping ability. The superhero nickname. Anthony Edwards landed in the NBA as though he was concocted in a laboratory that brews stardom. In Ant, Chris Hine expertly peels the layers in revealing Edwards’ path was anything but ordained. We see the person, not the myth amid the brilliant origin story of someone destined to rule the NBA for the foreseeable future. Hine is one of my favorite sports journalists and delivers the keen insight of a reporter who has witnessed every one of Edwards’ sizable leaps and youthful stumbles firsthand." - Jonathan Abrams, author and writer for the New York Times
