Congratulations to Bishop David G. Evans who continues to raise the bar for innovation and
creativity. Reading his work will help you understand why most of what Jesus taught was told in
parables. Enjoy!

David was the king in which all others were measured. The slayer of the giant Goliath. Poet,
musician, military strategist, singer, and Psalmist of God. The young lad God chose to become King
of Israel—of whom no one else thought qualified. But what if David lived today in the 21st century?
Instead of keeping sheep he's a rich investment banker with the world in the palm of his hands. He
has everything money can buy, but because of some serious mistakes he's lost his way, his God, and
now, his freedom. Instead of hiding in the Cave of Adullam, he sits alone in a jail cell about to
be tried for his crimes. What happens next—how David finds God in the midst of turmoil and his life
is turned around—will change the way you think about David, God, and your own personal challenges.
Find out how all this unfolds in the exciting new book Elevate: From Perdition to Providence by
Bishop David G. Evans—who brings the David of the Old Testament alive in a fresh and unique way in
today's modern world and language.
