He has authored and co-authored several articles and books, includingMortgage Lending, Racial Discrimination and Federal PolicyandWars on Terrorism and Iraq: Human Rights, Unilateralism, and U.S. Foreign Policy. From 1997 to 1999, he served on the staff of the White House Initiative on Race, and he is currently a member of the Neighborhood Investment Advisory Panel Research Committee of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development.
