A boy chosen for an impossible mission.
A fearless warrior ready for any challenge.
A girl with a secret who could save the world.
The Great War may have ended years ago, and the Dark Lord has long been vanquished, but mention of his terrible Shadow still strikes fear in the citizens of the realm. When darkness begins to spread across the kingdom, destroying everything in its path, the Order Council knows it can only mean one thing. The Dark Lord has returned.
Latov, the Council's youngest and most inexperienced member, is chosen to protect the Council's greatest asset, a young girl named Mary. Growing up in an orphanage, no one could imagine Mary would be the girl from the prophecy. Yet she might have the potential to wield an unimaginable yet dangerous power against the darkness, if only she knew how to control it. To help Latov on his mission, Nov, the fiercest warrior in the Council, is selected to train him for the perilous journey.
To save the universe from total annihilation, the three will travel between parallel worlds to find the secret to Mary's power. With the help of a cryptic prophecy and a magic map, Latov, Nov, and Mary will have to defy the odds to summon the light to clear the universe of evil.
