The Laws of Moses came with the Glory of God that dwelt at the Most Holy place on the ark of the Covenant and on the face of Moses when he descended from the mountain of God.
The Glory was Hidden behind the curtain and that on the face of Moses was covered by veil that the isaelites may not interact with it lest they die. In this same manner, Their hearts and their eyes were veiled that they may neither understand nor see the power of the glory of God until Christ came.
Through death of Christ; the Curtain that veiled the Most Holy place raptured to allow access of the glory of God, and humanity saw the glory of God on mt olives during the tranfiguration of jesus and did not die. This is the glory we receive to transform our nature to the likeness of God.
